The Karamchand Group, formed by first-generation businesspeople, is also known as “the Group.”
The Group operates in various sectors, including consumer goods, real estate, luxury design, and business incubation in the field of nanotechnology through its corporate companies. They were involved in promoting Karamchand Appliances (P) Limited (KAPL) in 1993. KAPL and Earth Chemical Company Limited of Japan have a technological partnership to produce the “ALLOUT” brand of household pesticide. The three Arya brothers played a significant role in making ALLOUT the most popular liquid insect repellent globally over a ten-year period. In 2000, A&M Magazine named the Arya brothers “Marketing Persons of the Year.”
KAPL employed a total of 550 people across its four manufacturing facilities, four regional offices, 36 branch offices, and 2,500 distributors. The total sales amounted to US$70 million.
