Noida, 8th March 2022: Founder, President & CEO of La Global Foundation, Dr. Meenakshi Sawhney, was invited as a guest of honour at Sharda University, Department of Medical Sciences and Research, on the occasion of Women’s day this year, wherein she discussed and highlighted the practical approach of “Evidence based Leadership, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship in Nursing & Healthcare.” She addressed the various proven strategies to incorporate innovative and evidence-based leadership practices into daily use to build creative, high-functioning, and sustainable organizations. No change takes place and sustains without strong leadership in any organisation. The session also distinguished the contemporary approach of Entrepreneurship, especially in the medical industry, and explored how newly trained graduates and experienced leaders can leverage an inter-disciplinary approach focused on the strength of their teams to transform healthcare in today’s complex environment.
With over ten years of experience in the Indian and International education sector, crossing paths with other diverse industries, Dr. Sawhney initially embarked on this journey by becoming the Director of Education and Principal to many educational facilities across the globe. She is brilliantly adept in the overall operational planning, implementation, administration, and curriculum development of any institute. For her, entrepreneurship is a product of empathy and her willingness to help society at a greater level, which gave birth to her ideation of the “LA Global foundation.” The foundation is a charitable organization founded in 2020, with a view to help and transform one million lives every five years through holistic development across Health, Education, Water & Sanitation, and Economic Development by creating a scalable, replicable, and community-centric model of sustainable development. The foundation works towards attaining “17 Global Goals” with a shared responsibility is to “Unite our strength” in order to serve “We the Peoples.”
Along with this wonderful initiative, she has also launched the “Global UN SDG Awards 2022” and “La Global SDG TShirt” to build a stronger community enriched with social activities and a resilient support system. She emphasizes and encourages the upcoming generation to be a part of a community essentially to support the individuals who are impacted by the daily stress, struggles, and chaos of modern life.
There was nothing other than thrill and excitement on anyone’s face as the session was concluded by a person as proficient, passionate, and committed as Dr. Meenakshi Sawhney.
