Here’s an exclusive interview with Pranav Sharma and Urvashi Ranjan Founders of Counseling Shortcuts. Pranav, is a best-selling author, a creative soul, and a guy radiating exuberance from within.Urvashi, a boundless bird who merely had anything by her side but just a determination in her mind to make ways to her dreams and shine like the brightest stars.

So, It all started with a “PHONE CALL” ! Urvashi who had just started working with Pranav was much focused to develop her career knew very little that this job will change her life totally.She was already going through a lot in her life and coincidentally even Pranav was going through something equally which they discovered quite later. This is a really crisp story that will definitely fill you with hope and encouragement. As the two start working with each other, Pranav, a well known author and an entrepreneur who has achieved various milestones at a very young age, knew very well what personality traits a person with a successful career has. Somehow he had a keen eye on Urvashi and her pattern of work. This instinct of his, made him ask Urvashi for a “PHONE CALL”, that changed both of their lives.
Pranav, for a long time had an Outstanding Project in his mind for which he was looking for a suitable partner. He has already worked with a lot of people before in his previous businesses, but none had the caliber to match the qualities he was looking up for this time. Somehow, with time he got to see each of the requirements getting fulfilled by Urvashi. He wanted to have a person who could not only work with him but also could take care of his “BRAIN CHILD- COUNSELING SHORTCUTS” to which he very beautifully carved a tagline “A Link With Life”, hence got it linked to his life.He started polishing Urvashi’s skills from the very beginning and now was the time she was all prepared to get the offer that would transform her life totally. All through Pranav Got really rough to Urvashi as they shared a story with us – “It was the time when Urvashi was among Pranav’s employees and the team got into a dispute which was rather intentionally broken down, Pranav was actually testing her patience and left all by Urvashi to handle the dispute…….. And that was when she cracked out the LABYRINTH and marked her position.
Now started the building up of Counseling Shortcuts, “HEART” to which is Pranav and “MIND” to which is Urvashi.Pranav comes up with innovative ideas and Urvashi frames them as products. Both have very efficiently designed Counseling Shortcuts which is just another small initiative to give a way to their dreams.Both of them have worked day and night into building this company, as both of them are from the non-management backgrounds it required a lot by both of them to learn and execute into framing their idea. This was when they changed their designation from “Colleagues” to “Partners”. Both of them had their personal engagements
Which at times made it really difficult for them to collaborate and work, but they did not lose hope and their enthusiasm remained the same. Be it Working from Home or relocating to a common city to develop the project. But this was not all that they had to face, Any business without a dispute is no business made, Counseling Shortcuts also suffered losses as the prevailing partners did not give much of their engagement in the works of the company, which made is really difficult to handle the workload and flourish the growth of the company. A company which was made with all positivity to help our young leaders was getting negatively impacted by a few profit seekers. Hence the decision was made to “lift up the sinking boat and let the rats go”.
Now was the time to work for the cause the two had united , Counseling Shortcuts. It was a tough phase to handle but both Pranav and Urvashi did not lose hope and kept their hard work going and the result came with success.
Also as we had a talk with both the founders they did not forget to thank their parents who had given them full support and encouraged them a lot to keep going. As Pranav says, he is the eldest son in his family and he has a lot of responsibilities to look after but his parents never made him crush his dreams rather have always been supportive enough to help him rise higher. Maybe this is a rare coincidence but this pair of partners have a lot of things in common and similarly as we talked to Urvashi we got to know even she is the eldest in the family, “Beautiful coincidences happen in this little beautiful world”. Urvashi too mentions that she being the eldest daughter in a middle class family she did not have the liberty to explore much but her parents never tied her dreams and encouraged her to follow her goals.
It is truly inspiring how this pair of founders made their way “FROM STRANGERS, TO PARTNERS ”, raising up all the downfalls and criticisms they made to the point that nothing can crush their dreams and desires. With all their hard work and enthusiasm Pranav Sharma operating as the Founder Chairman & Non-executive Director and Urvashi Ranjan operating as the Founder & Chief Executive Officer have very efficiently brought Counseling Shortcuts to the place it has acquired in the field of education and are working to maintain the governance and serenity at Counseling Shortcuts.
