Liqo open box electronics factory outlet to open at 50 new locations near you!

Liqo: A name that might just be the sole reason for the popularity of Open Box Electronics in parts of North India is aiming to open as many as 50 stores by the end of 2022. The company recently launched its 7th chain in Solan, Himachal Pradesh. The store will house and sell Open Box and Unboxed products across categories like refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, LED TVs, Microwaves, OTGs, Air Purifiers, Water Purifiers, and Speakers. It seems like Liqo has come with full swing in preparation to make its place in the hearts of its Solan Family after doing so in Chandigarh, Kharar-Mohali, Panchkula, Jodhpur, Howrah-Kolkata, Patiala, and Bengaluru.

Liqo is India’s first and biggest open box discounted store chain dealing in branded electronics. As a pioneer in this space, Liqo is on a mission – A mission to give an ‘upgrade’ to the dreams of each member of every Indian family. So that price is the last thing that an Indian household has to worry about when purchasing the electronics of their choice. And how do they plan to bring about this upgrade? Though their strongest pillars of Savings, Service, and Splendour.

Gaurav Garg, Co-Founder, and Chief Operating Officer, Liqo, in an exclusive byte, shared, “What we are providing a solution for is perhaps the biggest disadvantage that online players face – That is the lack of a ‘touch and feel’ experience. At Liqo, that is taken care of in addition to the unmatched price difference.” Talking further about the market segments, he added, “We are going after Tier I, II, and III cities of India, catering to the aspirations of each customer in our own unique way by providing accessibility and affordability of some of the best names and products in electronics.” There is a huge demand for quality tested new, unboxed, and refurbished products across India, and some customers still prefer to touch & feel the product before buying. This is where Liqo fits the bill in every aspect.

Initially, lack of knowledge and trust from consumers was the biggest challenge that Liqo faced. As the name suggests, open box electronics are those articles that have just been removed once from their packaging. This could be owing to product demos at retail locations or owing to unused returns to Amazon and Flipkart from indecisive customers. The acceptance process began with Liqo’s transparency policy on the condition and history of the goods. Another factor that contributed towards making Liqo a household name in a span of 4 years was the impeccable service that came with the products. They left no stone unturned in making our customers happy. And before we knew it, names like Toshiba, Hitachi, Haier, Whirlpool, Amazon, and Flipkart were associated with us.

The target of 50 stores doesn’t seem like a dream far away for Liqo as the team has recently secured a $2 million angel Funding. The company is sure of strong sales from its offline stores during the fiscal. And notably so, as they had reported a revenue of Rs. Fifty-six crores in Financial Year 2022. And if at all Liqo does manage to live up to its target, it will be no less than a revolution in the Open box electronics segment.
