Ishrat Khan is a known face of the industry which has seen rough and challenging phases of life. She started her journey as a theatre actor, but this was just a part of her journey. Ishrat holds a Degree in Hotel Management from a reputed educational institute. She has worked with top 5- and 7-star hotels as Guest relations and as Duty Manager. She holds years of experience in this field and is a veteran. She has been working as a freelance lecturer and visiting faculty in reputed Catering Colleges of Mumbai such as Kohinoor, Athrva, Rizvi, etc.
Before establishing herself as a successful actor, she did a lot of things, like she started her own business prior to 2016 but had to shut it down for various reasons. But since then, Ishrat’s life has changed forever. In the year 2016, she learnt and honed her skills by enrolling herself at Star Films Entertainment, where she learnt scriptwriting, direction, modelling, and acting skills and switched her career from Hotel Management to the Acting and Film Industry. She recalls the time and shares, “Once a well-wisher of mine told me that I’d be an actress one day. I knew I had the passion for it, but this was unexpected.”
But one fine day, everything turned in favour of Ishrat, and the journey started as an actor, initially from one day-two days role to episodes and series. There were those days when Ishrat would do day roles, and she auditioned for small roles. That was when she was told by senior actors that she should try doing episodes such as crime petrol etc. She did three to four episodes of crime petrol, and since then, she has never looked back.

Ishrat is an established face in the world of digital media, where she has done more than 180 sketches. A known personality from RVCJ Media, Alt Balaji- Class of 2020, Netflix-26/11 and list for various OTT’s goes on having years of experience now she has worked with Pankaj Tripathi, Ajay Devgn Films, etc., and is currently shooting a web series for a significant OTT platform where she is a prime character.
There were a lot of ups and downs that were faced by Ishrat when the pandemic hit. During those days, she signed huge projects such as Aladin and a few more, but that did not turn out in her favour, and the shooting was shut, and for months there was no work. But as the time evolved, Ishrat stopped taking projects outside Mumbai due to various reasons, and she explored various other opportunities in the city, and then the doors of opportunities were wide open for her.
She has done various digital media corporate films, short movies, and various TV commercials and ad films for Tanishq, Maanyawar, Dabur Amla, Shreeji Ghee with Bollywood actor Sonu Sood, Geetanjali Jewellery ad film, Fevicol, Paytm, Dulux paint. Mfine app, India gate Basmati Rice, Pepsodent, Lizol phenyl, and the list goes on and on. She was worked with various sectors and continues to gain love and support from the audience.
Ishrat Khan has been working hard for her upcoming projects, and she will be soon seen on a major OTT platform.
